Common yarrow is a wonderful white flowering, low growing, native perennial. It can hop from the garden, to roadsides, to meadows, to seasides, without missing a beat. It is durable but has very fine foliage. It has been used medicinally and in folklore for many a moons. It is salt, drought and compaction tolerant, but may have a little grazing from deer and rabbits. It is also a butterfly host plant and supports pollinators.
