Common milkweed can grow just about anywhere. It is great for meadows and naturalizing. It reseeds heavily, so avoid planting in areas where you like control. However, it’s beautiful flowers and seed heads are infamous. There are many insects and birds and pollinators and butterflies that love this plant but none as much as the Monarch Butterfly.
