Deschampsia flexuosa (wavy hairgrass)

Actual inventory ready for sale may vary, please contact us to confirm stock

Wavy hairgrass is a clumping, cool season native grass that does great in dry shade. Deschampsia is wonderful in mass plantings, but I also enjoy patches of them toward the front of a mixed perennial garden where taller perennials provide shade. It’s a soft flowy grass that hosts butterfly larvae and it’s seeds feed and attract birds!
