Purple love grass is like a dusty purple cloud, on the ground. I love this plant in large masses but also trimming a hot dry garden. It is very drought tolerant and has deep roots so is suitable for erosion control in difficult locations. It benefits a wide variety of wildlife for such a small plant, hosting a moth larvae, providing nesting and snacks for Songbirds and other insects.
