Ostrich ferns are the variety known for being the most edible, people harvest their fiddleheads in spring. Once they unfurl they are magnificent. Althoguht they can toleart sun, if you give them the shade and moisture they crave they will not disapoint. They are so green and have a very soft appearance. Deer and rabbit resistant.
